The planted pine grove is surprisingly productive. In the car, I patrol the edge of the forest, which is now in the morning sunlight. This draws out the resting migratory birds in masses. Es dämmert, als ich den Cildir Gölü, den Cildir See, halb umrundet habe. Beim Schild mit dem Hinweis Akçakale fahre ich in einen verschlafenen Ort und passiere ein Ausflugslokal mit einigen Möwen und vor allem 2 jungen – wohl zahmen – Krauskopfpelikanen (Pelecanus crispus).
