Eine Sumpfohreule (Asio flammeus) fliegt mit typischem, rudernden Flügelschlag im Hügelland südlich der Laguna de Gallocanta entlang. Mal ist die Sumpfohreule wunderschön im Gegenlicht über feuchtem Grasland fliegend zu sehen, dann wieder kurz zwischen Gräsern sitzend. Das Gegenlicht ist zwischendurch schon ein Problem. Auf dem weiten Sandstrand bleiben wir stehen. Für einen Moment legt sich der Wind.
