Ein früher Morgen am Kanal des Toshka-Projekts. Zwischen vielen Graureihern (Ardea cinerea) stehen aufrecht, als hätten sie einen Stock verschluckt, zwei Exemplare einer aus Afrika bekannten Art. Es ist der Nimmersatt (Mycteria ibis). Die Vögel stehen ganz still mit hängendem Schnabel. Schön sind die Farben in der Morgensonne zu sehen.
