Young Wrens out of the nest

Sometimes natures tell the best stories. You have to enjoy the little things. Eurasian Wrens (Troglodytes troglodytes) have bred in the forest behind our house. They were kind enough to introduce us to their fledgling offspring. In the morning I was wondering why a Eurasian Wren kept warning. Maybe he wants to distract from the little ones. Anyway, the warning calls made me curious. Something brown disappeared into a tree root. So I got the camera and then discovered 3 small, just fledged young, who allowed the approach up to 3 meters. Once a young one allowed itself to be fed, fluttering wildly. Then 3 young ones worked their way up from the brushwood and put themselves in a special position. Again and again I could position the camera, a Canon EOS R 5 on the Canon EF 400mm f4.0 DO IS II USM.

At some point, however, they followed the calling parents.
