Flink läuft ein winziger weiß-grau-brauner Vogel vor mir auf dem Sand des Rio São Lourenço. Es ist ein Azararegenpfeifer (Charadrius collaris). Ich lege mich auf den Sand und lasse den Vogel kommen. Wenige Kilometer hinter der Fazenda beginnt offiziell die Transpantaneira.
